I have been the lead teacher in the infant room at a Montessori daycare, baby-sitting for the past 15 years, and have been working in daycare for two years with infants as young as 6 weeks old all the way up to school aged children. I have experience teaching children science based classes at a sleep away camp in the mountains of Virginia, working at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and working at the Boys and Girls Club in Fort Collins, Colorado. My major in college was in English, so I love to read and encourage reading and learning of all subjects. I love all animals big and small, fur or scales. We interviewed Katie for a job taking care of our 4 children. While we ultimately decided to hire someone else, we were very impressed with Katie's experience with children of all ages and comfort with our kids. We would feel comfortable leaving our children in her care. She interacted so naturally with all 4 of my kids of different ages and seemed to generally love children and caring for them.
