About Kat

Hello! My name is Kat and I have been in a variety of caregiving roles, all in-home and more recently providing care to those who live with diabetes or stroke. I provided live-in care for my own mother for 3 years. She has Alzheimer's and a TBI. I am currently working towards certification and furthering my education in eldercare, and so far I have been trained by hired PT and OT staff, as well as nursing staff throughout my mother's care. I love to organize and help create spaces that encourage well-being and togetherness. I have been assisting older generations since 2017, and I plan to continue changing the world through better care for the foreseeable future. My philosophy in life is that there is no better care than in our own home provided by loving people. I show our elders love and respect by meeting them where they are at in their lives. I am glad to be able to offer myself in service to those who deserve every ounce of their autonomy in this thing called life.
