About Katey

Hi there! I'm Katey. I grew up in Wisconsin going to summer camps and spending lots of time outside. After finishing my years as a camper, I became a counselor and cared for of kids of many different ages. I'm pretty creative when it comes to avoiding meltdowns and keeping kids active, interested, and learning! Here in the city, I freelance in the documentary and journalism world, work at the farmers market, and spend my free-time cooking, reading, and getting into nature. As the film industry's ebbs and flows with work, I'm looking to return to my passions for childcare and education to pick up some extra work some nights. Some extra experience worth mentioning: I've volunteered a ton with seniors, so happy to help with older folk as well :) I'm a huge animal lover, so pets are definitely a plus in my book! I'm very experienced with dog and cat care. My schedule is quite flexible, so feel free to reach out if you need help during times outside my stated availability.
