About Katey

Hi! My name is Katey, but you can call me Alex. I recently moved to the Fishtown/NoLibs area after graduating from Penn State with a BA in psychology. In the future, I plan to attend grad school to pursue a career in child psychology. I do not currently have a car but have no problem walking or using transit. Over the past six years, I have had the opportunity to work with children and their families in a variety of different roles including babysitter, summer camp counselor, pre-k class intern, and behavior support. Much of my professional experience has centered around working with children in the 3-12 age range with autism, ADHD, food allergy, and trauma. I strongly believe that my calm personality and patience have been my biggest assets in forming cooperative and trusting relationships with the families I have worked with. In my spare time, I enjoy singing with my band and exploring the city. My schedule is currently open for the summer, I hope to hear from you soon!
