About Kate

I have always loved working with children, and am passionate when it comes to helping them grow and develop. From being a lifeguard and teaching swim lessons, to babysitting and pursuing a career as a pediatric nurse, I have had the privilege of caring for children in various roles. I believe every child has the potential to learn and grow, and I want to be a part of their journey. I approach childcare with patience, empathy, and believe communication is a vital tool for kiddos. I keep parents informed about their kid's day and any issues that arise, using their preferred method of communication. I happily follow the household rules set by the parents, and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, both educational and recreational. With 2+ years of experience, I am comfortable caring for up to two children or more, aged 0 to 13. I am in college for nursing, and am proficient in English. I am also First Aid and CPR trained, and have experience with life-saving techniques.
