About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate and I love spending time with kids. Being a part of their formative years is both a privilege and responsibility. It is so much fun watching them learn and become independent and also endearing to establish trust and be a safe place for them to lean into. I have had experience working with kids in various facets for quite some time. I was a military kid and grew up with two (much) younger siblings and have been babysitting since I was 12. I have also been in the corporate world for the last 8 years focused on building relationships with my leaders and peers and mentored teams that have reported to me. This has taught me that everyone learns differently and needs their own unique approach. I look forward to building trust and relationships with the families I work for. I have also been a camp counselor, a swim instructor, a resident assistant, and long term nanny.
