Kathy was our nanny for a year and did a wonderful job for us. (My kids are 4 and 7 now, but were 3 and 6 at the time we hired her.) She stayed with my 4 year old at our home while my 7 year old attended school. She did a great job of playing with my little one - doing crafts, coloring and painting, playing with the dollhouse, taking her to the park every day, loving on her (very important to get that TLC!), and engaging her in early learning. She taught her ABCs and counting to 20, which she didn’t know prior. She also helped her learn Spanish - awesome! In the afternoon, she walked to pick up my 7 year old from school and did a great job watching both girls in the afternoon until my husband or I arrived home from work. She prepared all meals for them (per my directions) and ensured they ate lots of fruits and veggies throughout the day. And she ensured the kitchen and living room were cleaned up when we arrived home. As a bonus, she also did laundry for us. Woo hoo! Kathy is a little shy and quiet, but don’t let that deter you! She’s very dependable and someone you can count on to care well for your kiddos. And your kids will love her just as mine do. The only reason we don’t have her as a nanny any longer is that we felt it was time for our 4-year-old to start preschool and begin getting more kid interaction, ahead of starting kindergarten. I highly recommend Kathy as a nanny and quality caregiver. You won’t regret hiring her!
