About Kate

Hello! I am a recent graduate of New York University, and childcare worker of over 5 years hoping to extend my studies further! I majored in Environmental Studies alongside a diverse range of pre-health, art, and writing classes. This included a strong emphasis in a multitude of sciences, math, and language classes. Alongside classes, I have been a part time caregiver for two young girls for 4 years. I admire working with children and helping them learn / explore the topics they are learning about from a point of view they find interesting. I have experience with special needs individual and always strive to create a safe and open environment. While in my care, I am able to assist with helping getting children to and from school, encouraging activities such as art, reading, or cooking, and I am very flexible in terms of scheduling and individual needs.
