About Kate

Hello, since moving to Springfield I have had the pleasure in caring for a lovely Army veteran who had Parkinson's, partially blind and also suffered from dementia. I was his shadow' in that I was always with him to prevent any falls. I also took him to appointments, ran errands and outside walks in his wheelchair., I also made sure he took his meds when needed as well as meal prep and bathroom help. I also took care of a kind and gentle 89 year young woman who sadly had cancer. I helped with her meds and feedings thru a stomach tube. We would take walks weather permitting and exercised daily, I also helped with her bathroom needs. Sadly, they both have passed away. I now find myself looking for a senior caretaking position. I pride myself in attention to detail and have a great deal of compassion. I'm very personable, college educated and have a myriad of interests. You can be sure your loved will be in capable and loving hands in my care.
