About Kate

I've spent the past year pivoting from a 20 year career in collegiate coaching to becoming practicing end-of-life doula. I am NEDA proficient and have certifications as an end-of-life doula from the Osher Center for Integrative Health as well as Going With Grace organization. While I am not a practicing attorney, my law education supports my problem solving skills and respect for important professional boundaries. I am passionate about helping to empower individuals to create a quality of life within the comfort of their own home. This work allows me to learn and connect with people and their individual life stories while providing logistical and emotional support. My skills include respite care, life review, companionship, bedside vigil, and light household chores. I'm interested in offering guidance and assistance with Swedish Death Cleaning.
