About Katelyn

I'm a passionate childcare provider with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I completed a 4 year education program at the University of Alabama. I am a certified teacher(K-6th) with a Early Childhood certification for infants to 4 years of age. My desire to make a positive impact on children's lives and support families led me to this fulfilling career. As a patient and friendly individual, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child's day and any issues that may arise. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I'm well-equipped to care for up to two children, aged 0-11, and hold a college degree. I have a car, which allows for flexibility in outings and activities.
