About Katelyn

Hi! A little about me professionally: I possess a Masters in Education, BS in Secondary Education and BA in English. I taught high school English, and also middle school Language Arts in Ridley School District and Wallingford-Swarthmore. I have experience with teaching English, writing instruction, test preparation, and SAT tutoring. I spent summers on Nantucket preparing students for the SAT, ACT, ISEE and other private school entrance exams. I left my job after seven years to raise my four young children (ages 8, 6, 4 and infant). I miss teaching immensely, so tutoring is a great way for me to continue to do what I love, until I can go back full time! When I'm not tutoring or taking care of my kids, you can find me drinking coffee all day, reading a great non-fiction book, watching documentaries with my husband, at CrossFit or out for a run!
