About Katelyn

Hello, my name is Katelyn, I am currently a 20-year-old college student working to obtain a degree in psychology and child development. I have 4 years of experience working with children as well as an adult/child/infant CPR certification. I love working with kids and getting on their level to see how they perceive the world. Their little minds have the biggest imagination and I love learning and seeing how each child processes and works through situations on their own. While being a college student I am also currently working at a Montessori school for children ages 3-6. I am an assistant teacher ensuring the environment the children are in is always positive, encouraging, and safe for their minds to grow and learn. Letting the children take the lead while I stand back and support them through there work, giving the child room to figure out what works best for them but also stepping in when it's necessary and giving them guidance.
