I have been an elementary teacher for 6 years in the Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs. For the past 3 years I have taught reading and math intervention to students with learning disabilities. I have also been a special education case manager for 2 years, and a personal tutor for a 6th grader for 1 summer. I am passionate about breaking down concepts for visual/ kinesthetic learners, and fostering confidence and independence in my students.
