My name is Katie and I am currently a student at Eastern Michigan University studying therapeutic recreation (TR) and occupational therapy (OT). As a requirement for my program, I have completed multiple fieldwork experiences working with children, teens and young adults with special needs. I currently work as a volunteer recreational therapy aid through a home care agency where I work with children with special needs such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, etc.
