About Katelyn

I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I have always had animals large and small through out my life. I have rescued wildlife and domesticated animals in need. I have worked 50 hours community service for graduation at the local animal shelter. I currently own a dog, and am the caretaker for 20+ birds, 6 dogs, 2 rabbits, and a cat. I am comfortable with livestock and farm animals. I grew up with Arabian horses, and practiced English riding and stable/horse maintenance. Animals are more than meets the eye. Once you gain their trust, and you witness them enough, you realize their personalities and their unique intelligence. I enjoy caring for animals and getting to know them and help make their world better, and their brief time here as special as can be. I am very affectionate with animals, unless they don't like it. I honor their wishes and respect their boundries. To me, they are part of the family and I will care for them as such.
