About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn, I'm currently working in corporate, looking for a change of pace. I graduated w/ a degree in bio (neuroscience conc) & psychology ( focus in child development). I have a passion for working w/ children & supporting healthy development. I love creating curriculum and engaging activities for little ones, my approach integrates the Montessori philosophy and elements of the modern Finnish education system, fostering a nurturing, child-led learning environment. My finance and I are due with our little girl in the beginning of march, and have discussed finding ways to integrate my passion of helping children into my career. My hope is that I can take a break from the corporate space and nanny while watching my daughter. I would love to eventually build a small Montessori home daycare, creating a structured & flexible routine that supports emotional, cognitive, & physical development. It's so important to me parents feel they have a support system through me as well!
