My name is Katelyn J, and I am a special education teacher. :) I am in my third year of teaching and before that I was a paraprofessional for two years. I teach in a self contained, high school aged classroom. They all have multiple disabilities, non verbal, and all have different forms of communicating, and they are the best! Most have a sensory impairment as well. I am CPR/first aid certified. The school I teach at is called ACCEL, and they are a private school with district placement. I am extra trained in G-tube feeding, seizure control and behavior management. We use TCI at my work- therapeutic crisis intervention. Ask me anything :)
