Hi! As an educator, I love inspiring kids to be creative, playing games to use their energy, and creating learning moments. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, preparing meals, helping to clean, nannying for multiple days, and other tasks as needed. :) I currently work at a real estate brokerage but last year I was a Program Coordinator for Chicago Youth Programs where I managed programs for over 75 students 3-14 years old. I also work consistently with a family in Chicago that I'm very close with. I babysit for them regularly, accompany them on vacations out of the country, and have nannied their 3 kids up to 2 weeks in their home while the parents went on vacation. I began sitting in high school, then provided care for 4 families in Chicago. I worked a kid's non-profit writing center. I taught after school programming with Youth Guidance to some amazing 2nd graders. I also taught 7 kindergarten and elementary classes per day as an English teacher in Seoul.

Katelyn is a writing tutor at a University Writing Center. We are one of the largest peer tutoring centers of any public research university. We only hire tutors who have completed semester long training through a full credit English course, which focuses on writing and tutoring. Katelyn is in the top 5% of the 100 tutors who work here every semester. She is dependable, generous in helping writers, interested in ongoing improvement, and supportive of colleagues.
