About Katelyn

Hello! I am a passionate, patient and encouraging person who would love the opportunity to tutor your children. I am currently a student, entering my senior year this fall. My dream is to teach, and I am majoring in Childhood and Special Education with a concentration in English. I have spent the last three years immersed in learning what the best, newest teaching practices are, which translates directly to my tutoring approach. I have had extensive experience tutoring children of various ages. I tutored a third grade student in literacy for 10 weeks this past semester as part of my class requirements and felt we made immense progress developing his reading. I have also been a paid tutor for 2 years. With this experience with various ages, I know how to adapt my instruction to meet the needs of all children, at any age. I would love the opportunity to work with your children and help them flourish!
