About Katelyn

I specialize in English & Creative Writing. I have a BA from Lewis U in Broadcast Journalism with honors. I ran a daily TV Show on campus that focused on Trends & World Issues. I was also the Editor of the Student Newspaper in high school & college where I participated in Journalism competitions across the state. During college, I managed younger students in research papers/resumes/powerpoints & basic writing techniques. I also was a board member for the creative arts literary magazine, Jet Fuel Review where I gave feedback in the poetry & non-fiction categories. After college, I freelanced for Lifestyle & Artist magazines through June Media & Galore. I also began to design graphics for promotional events & social media content for a marketing firm. While in middle school/HS I went through a variety of tutors for math before finding one that provided me with confidence. I relate when it comes to working with tutors & the difference between being helpful versus doing the work for them.
