About Katelyn

I am a military spouse who recently moved to San Antonio from Kentucky. I have my associates degree in early childhood education and am currently enrolled and just a few short classes away from my bachelors. My goal is to become a kindergarten teacher. I have been working with children for some time and currently work part time in base at a school age center but have a lot of free time to help with one on one care as well. I am CPR and first aid certified and have had many childcare trainings which include medication administration, child abuse, head trauma, food handlers, etc. I am comfortable with pets as I myself have dogs. I'd describe my personality as fun, energetic, and creative. I like working with kids because it is a very rewarding and fun career. I love watching children learn and grow and providing fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate activities to help them succeed and for their personalities to shine through.
