About Katelyn

I like caring for seniors because I I know how much it means for people to be able to live in their own homes as they grow older, so I like to offer my services to make sure they have the assistance they need to complete daily tasks that have maybe become more difficult to do alone. I do already have a full time job and attend full time classes in college, so I'm looking for a flexible job where I can be of help a handful of hours each week. I really enjoy reading, going for walks, baking, and spending time with my family! One thing you should know about me is I have experience working with individuals with dementia. I have worked in an assisted living facility, an inpatient hospital unit, and currently work in an emergency room. My skills include assisting with bathing and cares to make sure everyone feels amazing at the start and end of every day, cares and repositioning for individuals who may be bed bound, and being a companion and friend.
