Hello everyone, Here is a bit about my experience with special needs. I have a brother who has cerebral palsy. I have helped care for him his entire life. I also have a cousin whom. is deaf and blind in one eye and a cousin with autism I have helped care for them as well. I have experience as a teacher and assistant with children and adults with Down syndrome, autism, and other special needs. From this, I have safety care training, experience with some sign language, as well as multiple behavior strategies. I lobe caring for children and adults with special needs because they have such an innocent and pure outlook on life. They are 100% authentic and provide pure joy to peoples lives. People with special needs should not be treated any differently than neurotypical people. I would love to help care for your loved one just as you would.
