About Kateena

A compassionate companion with years of experience taking care of my own mother in the last years of her life has allowed me to use my skills to provide both physical and emotional support to her, as well as to others. I have taken care of an elderly couple with wet and dry Macular Degeneration. During that time, I assisted them with shopping, meal prep, and medical appointments. Another person under my care, with memory loss, has given me experience in that aspect. Being an outgoing person, I have many activities planned, including book discussions, puzzles, arts and crafts, and other exercises for maintaining a healthy mind and body. Having traveled to many countries and living in several of them, I am able to engage in interesting conversations. Although formally educated in Elementary Education and Sociology, my people skills, never-ending energy, and laughter make me an ideal candidate for a position of Companion to your loved-one.
