About Kate

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, loyal, dependable. I like working with animals because my own pets are essential to my household. Since going to college I have felt the gap of my pets' presence in my life and I'm eager to fill this through caretaking :) I started working with animals when I was old enough to start taking care of my family's dog. I've had fish since a very young age that taught me the responsibility of caretaking. About 3 years ago, I rescued a dog that now lives with my parents, but was mainly my responsibility throughout high school. That is when I learned everything I know about doggie-care up to this point in my life. I have also dog sat for many friends, acquaintances, and family members before! My skills include establishing connection and trust with an animal, kindness, understanding of what is appropriate at what times in a dogs behavior due to how they are trained.
