About Kate

I have been working with children since I was 13! My past experiences include summer camps, Vacation Bible School, before and after school care (LIFFES), babysitting, and working as a teaching assistant at Westhampton Beach Learning Center Summer School. I have completed trainings regarding children's health and safety for these jobs as well. I have experience driving children home from summer camps and to sports practices along with swimming safety. I am currently getting my undergraduate degree in English Literature and Writing with plans to get my graduate degree in Library and Information Science. I am compassionate, a good listener, creative, and attentive. I am a hard worker and very punctual. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with family, go to the beach, shop, and plan vacations/trips. My skills include patience, both creative and critical thinking, and both verbal and nonverbal communication.
