I have 15+ years of childcare experience, ranging from newborn (4-weeks) to teenage care. 

I am a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, CPR (BLS) certified, and COVID/flu/TDAP vaccinated. 

I work full-time during the week (M-F/9-5), and therefore am available for occasional date-night and/or weekend babysitting; weekdays after 5PM, and anytime on weekends.

Outside of babysitting, I also provide care for animals when families are away on vacation.

Kate is a wonderful babysitter for my now 17 month old son, having sat for him since he was just about one month old.  She is a beautiful person, inside and out - great at engaging in play, being patient, and she is an organized and clear communicator.  We are so lucky that Kate is a part of our lives!  

Kate is a great date-night sitter for our family. We’ve used her a handful of times and hope to keep using her for the foreseeable future! She is great with our young daughter who is under a year. She obviously interacts with her while here and always tidied up after even though we’ve told her it’s not necessary. She’s also so patient with our dogs who are not the easiest. We originally thought we would crate them while a sitter was here but she was really open to working with us on that. Honestly I can’t recommend her enough!

Kate babysat for our 1.5 year old son for 3 nights while we were on vacation in Sea Bright. She was great with our son, playing and reading books with him, bathing him and getting him ready for bed. She was professional, tidy, punctual and had a warm, sweet demeanor. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!

As the other reviews state, Kate is great! Our kids love when she comes over and look forward to playing with her. She is incredibly punctual and professional and texts frequently to confirm/check-in. She keeps our house in order and doesn't let the kids go crazy when we are gone with a mess. She handled mostly date nights for us, and when we got home the kids were in bed. Kate continues to babysit for us, and we always are able to go out and relax knowing the kids are being well taken care of at home.

Kate responded to a posting for my family to help us out for a weekend in Rumson. We needed childcare for our daughter (three) and son (four months) on a Friday and Saturday night and Kate was very flexible and responsive to our needs as we haven't left our children alone much (or at all) the past couple years! Really appreciated Kate's availability to discuss needs before hiring and after we met in person on the day. Our daughter connected with Kate and was really excited to see her again on the second night of babysitting! Kate's communication during the babysitting hours also helped alleviate the stress of leaving our kids and let us enjoy our time out. Would definitely recommend getting in touch with Kate for my fellow parents out there who are looking for childcare help. If ever we're back in the area and in need of help she'll be at the top of our list.

We had a last minute emergency and hired Kate on a Monday to start the very next day. She watched our 3 and 7 year old boys for two weeks. Kate is amazing. She immediately became a part of our family. We continue to use her on an as needed basis and we are so lucky to have found her. We would absolutely recommend her!

Kate is great! She cared for our ~6 month old many times before the pandemic and we look forward to having her back in the future. She has a kind, confident, good energy, readily getting on the floor with our baby to play with and care  for him. She's reliable and communicates clearly and proactively, confirming dates and times, etc.

We used Kate as our babysitter for our toddler boy while we lived in Philadelphia. Kate was always punctual, responsible, loving, and kind. She would try to help when we needed extra care, too. We would still be using her had we not moved to TN. We are a 2 physician family, and we highly recommend Kate!

Kate was amazing - always on-time, friendly and full of energy. Our children loved spending time with her coloring, reading and snuggling on the couch. We were sad to see her move but loved the time we had with her.

Kate was so wonderful with my kids! She's super sweet and went above and beyond every time she came. Both myself and my kids were so sad when she moved! 

Kate is a wonderful person, cheerful, optimistic, very well organized and highly reliable. 
Our kids are 7 and 10 years old and they adore her. 
They have a lot of fun together, but at the same time she has the kind of inherent authority that gets the kids to listen to her and do what she says. They like doing homework with her because she is good at explaining and motivating. Kate is sporty and full of energy and the boys have lots of fun playing ball games with her in the garden. We would have loved for her to look after our kids for much longer, if she would not be moving away. We wish her best of luck and lots of families that appreciate her work as much as we do.    

Kate has watched our son on several occasions. She is very responsible, professional and takes excellent care of our son. As new parents it is not always easy to find reliable help but we immediately felt comfortable having Kate watch him.  We have shared her information with family and friends because we've been so happy with her.
