Hi, I'm Kate! I am a 26-year-old Speech-Language Pathologist in the school + medical setting working with a variety of populations. I have worked with children with ASD, Down syndrome, specific learning disabilities, hearing impairments, speech-sound disorders, apraxia, childhood-onset fluency disorder (stuttering), etc. I have also worked with adults who have aphasia, dysphagia, apraxia, TBI, dysarthria, etc. In my full time job I work with kindergarten-high school students. I also work PRN in a hospital and skilled nursing facility. I have worked with kids since I was 16 and began my babysitting journey when I was 18, then went to college to pursue my career in speech-language pathology. I have my BA and MS degrees.
