About Katarina

Hello, my name is Katarina, I am 32 years old and I was born and raised in Southampton, Long Island. I attended Southampton Public Schools, K-12 & graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a degree in Fine Arts. I am currently working full time as a Teaching Assistant at Southampton Elementary School. In my free time, I am seeking to share my qualities as a responsible caregiver with families in need, providing supervision, companionship, guidance, & love. I have 19+ years of experience babysitting and nannying, as well as 7 years of experience in early childhood education. (NAMC Montessori, Cornell Cooperative Extension + NYSED certified) I have cared for and educated children of varied needs and ages, and I aspire to share the skills that I have developed in my career as a visual artist to encourage creativity, imagination, & mindfulness. I am self-motivated, flexible, solution oriented, empathetic, & very organized. I am not a housekeeper!
