I have been blessed to help many clients as I've adapted to each one and their special circumstance. However, these 10 years of hands on experience have helped me emulate a better part of me. I've learned that I can be an answer to others prayers, but they too are an answer to mine. As we serve others selflessly and compassionately, God has a way of easing all our burdens. As a Tongan, I feel that the care I once gave my grandparents during their end stages has helped me become an empathetic, skilled, fast learning, compassionate caregiver today.

I need to hire a caregiver for the very first time for my husband with Alzheimer's and I chose Katalina. I'm so very glad I did. We initially met for coffee to get acquainted and I was immediately struck by her friendly and easy going manner. Our next meeting was at my house where she met my husband. He didn't think he needed anyone to care for him in my absence but as soon as he met and visited with Katalina he was looking forward to her coming for a few days. She completely won him over. She has such a calming effect during a difficult transition time. After just a couple of meeting she really felt like a trusted friend. I went away on my trip for 4 days and Katalina took care of my husband exactly as we had discussed based on his needs. Each time I called my husband while I was gone he was happy and content and enjoying his time with Katalina. She kept him on track, made sure he had his medicine, administered his eye drops, fixed his meals, oversaw his night/bed routine and kept him entertained. I don't want to forget to mention that Katalina was always responsive to my email messages, text message and was always right on time for all of our meet ups. I feel so fortunate to have found such a caring, efficient person to care for my husband. I can go away for a few days now with complete ease knowing my husband is in very capable hands.
