I worked as a CNA at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center for 4 years. I have experience working on the cardiac and intensive care units, and I am confident that I have the capability to meet all medical care expectations. Included in my professional experience are patients from adolescence to senior with a range of developmental and physical disabilities. I believe, more important than my technical experience, however, is providing an environment where someone feels safe and comfortable. Connecting with patients, understanding their needs, and providing help in a respectful manner are all values that I strive to perfect. I understand people are in a vulnerable spot and trusting someone to take care of your loved ones can be difficult. Core to my belief is that medical professionals must have the ability to empathize, letting compassion serve the industry. It is this type of care that I strive for as to mitigate emotional distress and provide exceptional service in difficult times.
