Auntie of 5 & Dog-Mom of 2. Experienced babysitter/nanny, house-cleaner, dog-walker, cat-sitter, & senior companion. College educated (BS Geology 2016) and current Vet Tech student seeking BASc & LVT licensure. Autism, ADHD, Depression & C-PTSD survivor; mental health advocate and empathetic human being. Kind, fun-loving, creative caretaker of humans and animals alike! I began babysitting for my family & neighbors as a teen, and have served as a nanny (caregiving+cleaning) for families many times over the years. I love working with kids (especially special-needs) and seniors because, as an autistic, I often feel misunderstood/judged by others & am most comfortable communicating with / relating to younger humans or elders. I would say that my top-3 skills as a caregiver are my patience, compassion & empathy!! As a practiced Veterinary Assistant & Med Clerk, I am very experienced nursing for and cleaning up after sick animal patients & can apply many of those skills to senior care!
