About Kasey

I have experience as a camp counselor, nanny, infant Montessori assistant teacher, behavior technician with kiddos on the ASD spectrum, and recently have worked in mental health residential and day treatment facilities with children and teens. I'd describe my personality as calm, patient and structured. I love working with arts and crafts as well as spending time outside with kids. I value boundaries and clear expectations and rules for kids so they can just be kids. I'm looking for a job that has consistent hours and good communication, looking for a family that values the Montessori approach as that is my go to. I started working with kids when I was young, my mom has an in home daycare and once I started College I became a camp counselor in the summer while pursuing my bachelors degree in youth ministry. My skills include patience, creativity and structure. I think it's important to offer kids options and support them by providing fun and creative projects and activities.
