About Karyn Kiki

As mother to 5 and grand to 11, I miss those little rascals so I'd like to enjoy someone else's children. I'm a writer, a teacher and school administrator. I taught English to Turkish children in Turkey for 3 years so I'm open to and familiar with other cultures. I'm a youthful gramma & in great shape to get onto the floor with the little ones, rock-a-bye-baby with infants or have some good game time with older kids.(I have lots of games to bring.) My exuberance and joyful attitude shine through and kiddos tend to bond with me quickly; I know boundaries and always try to provide children with the understanding and knowledge to learn their own space as well. I'm signed up for the American Heart Assoc. CPR classes on 8/22, so I'll be certified in various life saving practices. At heart, I'm a forever teacher. Everyone calls me Gramma Kiki or by my nickname, Kiki, so it's easy to fit right into a child's home with such a kid-friendly name!! Also, I'm a sucker for any pet you may have.
