About Karter

As a certified childcare provider, I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for your child. My passion for working with children stems from my personal experiences babysitting/working in childcare and witnessing the positive relationship I created. I worked with Ann Arbor Rec and Ed doing after-school care for the past two years. The summers in between I worked as a teacher at their camp "Safety Town". My approach to childcare involves fostering a calm, friendly environment where children feel comfortable and heard. I prioritize open communication with parents and children, ensuring that I understand their expectations and concerns. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, helping with housekeeping, and transporting/picking up your children as I have my own vehicle. I love all types of animals and have two dogs and a cat of my own. If animal care is needed I can provide that as well.
