My teaching degree is in history, political science, sociology, psychology, economics & geography. As I have a criminal justice degree I can teach that as well. Since 2012 I have been a substitute teacher primarily with K-4th grade. I had a 4. 0 for one degree and due to my fiancé passing I dropped to a 3. 6 in my second degree so I can definitely help with college paper writing. With my own children, they had an hour of homework, even when there was no homework. They also read at least 30 minutes a day & I read to them 30 minutes a day. By helping them choose books with a rich vocabulary the scored perfectly on vocabulary on the SAT just as I had. I believe in some basic skills like flash cards to learn basics of addiction, subtraction, multiplication, division & the most frequently used 100 words for early readers. These fundamentals set your child up for more complex work later on. I love that Eureka moment when you see that flash in someone's eyes and you know they got it!
