About Karl

I'd describe my personality as smart, caring and compassionate. I like working with animals because I have loved them all my life, both dogs and cats. I'm looking for a job that is emotionally rewarding and also allows me some flexibility with my life and schedule. I started working with animals when I was a child. Our family had up to seven dogs at one point and taking care of them was often my responsibility. I frequently care for my housemate's cats, a tabby and tortoiseshell, who have lived with us for about 7 years. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, read, draw and interact with my friends through the internet. By trade I am a graphic designer. My skills include patience, empathy and an understanding of the care and feeding of the animals. Recently one of the cats I care for suffered from illness related to a cancer diagnosis, and I administered liquified food and medication to her though a feeding tube for a couple of weeks (she's doing fine now!).
