About Karlee

I started in the childcare field at 18 years old and quickly found my love for preschool aged children! Finding new ways to teach them and build their environments so they're actually learning while feeling like they're still playing! I have several years experience at local daycare centers in the Pierce and King County areas as a lead preschool teacher. I worked for 4yrs at the Sumner/Bonney Lake blended preschool program as their lead teacher as well. I have completed my 30hrs of basic STARS trainings and have done each year of continual training which is an additional 10 hours a year. I have taken a safe sleep course each year and gained my food handlers card each time it expires. My approach is old school yet fun! While we absolutely will mind our manners and have respect for others we will also have SO much fun! I prepare themed curriculum buckets that I can bring along with me if your child is needing a little extra help in some areas. Please reach out with any questions.
