Hello! My name is Karleen but you can call me Kalina. Currently, I'm a full time psychology student at Salem State University. Prior to University, I volunteered at a high school where I worked with many students who had various disabilities. The main student I cared for was nonverbal & we communicated through her electronic device. And since I went to a Vocational high school I worked in their daycare. Throughout that time I provided educational activities etc. During the summer of 2022, I was a youth mentor for children ages 4 and up to 13. My main student had high functioning autism and I had separate fun activities. Also, my sibling who's 7 years old has autism. Overall, I adore kids, their huge boost of energy and excitement over the little things brings me joy.
