My experience with special Ed has come from my 5-year-old brother who has Down syndrome. I am also a dual major at SNHU where I will be getting my bachelors in both elementary education and special education. I have worked with students that range from needing accommodations to being non-verbal. Through my courses, I have been in many special education settings and have written and analyzed IEPs and other documents. I am a part of a club which is a club in which we do different activities with members of the community who have special needs ranging from autism to cerebral palsy and more.
