I specialize in caring for clients with Alzheimer's and Dementia, having managed a locked Memory Support Unit. I drive a 2020 Ford Escape that is professionally cleaned every 2 weeks and covered by full insurance. My preference for in-home care allows me to provide personalized attention. I offer an "Age In Place" service, enabling individuals to remain in their homes for as long as they desire. My services range from medication management, accompanying to doctor's appointments, light housekeeping, pet care, bathing, feeding, changing, laundry, Physical Therapy, monitoring vital signs, CPR certification, First Aid, Fun at Home and/or entertainment outings depending on clients desires and abilities, Hoyer Lift assistance, management experience in healthcare, and End Of Life Care. I have collaborated closely with Hospice on multiple occasions. I also do overnights.

Karla is a caring and responsible caregiver who is very reliable and I believe only called in sick one day while working with my FIL for a year! Often working double shifts when our night nurse would call in sick! She was patient and kept an even keel even when my FIL would ask the same thing 20 times or try to yell to get what he wanted. Karla became one of the family that we all came to love and appreciate having around. She would drive my FIL places and is strong enough to lift heavy patients out of chairs or off the floor. (My FIL was 6'2" and over 200lbs) We stay in contact with Karla and have her to our family functions still. You will not regret making her a part of your family as well!
