About Karla

I am a Special Education teacher and I with students who have learning disabilities, and emotional and behavior disabilities. My tutoring strengths include Elementary reading and math as well as middle school and high social studies and English. I can also help with study skills, executive functioning skills, organization and mentoring. I love to spend time with my daughter, and my dog. I enjoy traveling, reading, crafting, walking, going to parks and social events and watching movies. Having fun and hanging out with my friends is also a favorite pastime. I am patient, kind and caring. I build rapport and relationships easily. I am positive, upbeat, and outgoing. I always do what s best for my students and pride myself on helping them build confidence through their successes.
