About Karla

Hello! My name is Karla and I am from Bermuda Dunes, Ca. I have a strong background in early childhood education in addition to being a mother and most recently, a grandmother. I earned my Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from College of the Desert in 1998. I have held positions as a Head Start and State Preschool Teacher for both the Coachella Valley and Desert Sands Unified School Districts, where I gained valuable experience in classroom management, curriculum development, and working with children, including those with special needs. I have also held the position of assistant director at a private childcare development center, as well as experience with the high school special education department and foreign language department. I am passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young children, and I am committed to supporting their growth and development.
