Hi there, I'm Kari! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and I am currently an independent contractor working full-time with youth and young adults. Before that, I worked for 3. 5 years at our local community mental health agency in the schools here in Buena Vista. I am passionate about fostering childhood health and well-being. I have work experience of more than 8 years in schools, summer camps, and licensed child cares. I have many more years of babysitting experience for neighbors and family friends and also have volunteered extensively with youth. I love reading, arts and crafts, and getting outside! I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and certified in child/infant/adult First Aid and CPR. Due to the large number of requests for babysitting I get, I have increased my rates (see below). If you live more than 15 minutes from Buena Vista, I will ask you to pay my travel time at that rate as well. I am available Fridays, weekends, and some weekday evenings. Thank you!

Kari was an outstanding sitter for us when we were in Buena Vista for a wedding weekend! She was on time, friendly, and engaging with our toddler and my niece. It was so great knowing that the kiddos were safe with her while we enjoyed ourselves at the wedding festivities!
