My name is Kari and I have worked with a variety of individuals that required assistance in their daily routine and enhancing their quality of life while maintaining their dignity and respecting them as individuals that have their own preferences and needs to be more independent. It is important to me to have a connection with the individuals in my care because it is a relationship that has to be built on trust and communication. In the past I have worked with countless individuals with a variety of disabilities which included intellectual disabilities from profound to moderate, senior home health care, person with physical disabilities that included paralysis, traumatic brain injury, dementia, etc. I have made it my passion to become more keenly aware of the difference a kind and compassionate caregiver can make in another person,'s life and it makes a difference in mine to be that person.
