About Karissa

I've been a caregiver for 15 years, and my passion lies in nurturing children's growth and development. I'm a certified registered nurse with CPR and First Aid training. I find great joy in making a difference in children's lives and supporting families. My calm, creative, and friendly nature allows me to establish a strong rapport with both children and parents. I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide updates on their child's day. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules while still creating a nurturing environment. I enjoy various games with children, from outdoor activities to educational games that foster learning. I hold a graduate degree and have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and am happy to help with tasks like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and crafts.
