Hi there! My name is Karissa, I'm a lover of reading, writing, and all things analytical. I received my BA in English LIT from UCF and obtained a MA in International Journalism from Södertörn University in Stockholm, Sweden. I can assist with reading comprehension, writing skills, creative writing prompts, teaching global media structures, and extra curricular experiences such as art, improv, & theater. I took two years of American Sign Language and still have the textbook for A1-A2 ASL, and am considered a B2 level of understanding/speaking Swedish. I love working with kids of all ages, and have experience teaching through the Language and Learning (LAL) program for international students held by Lynn University in Boca Raton.
