I volunteered to run an activity day for disabled children. I am a former aide for the YMCA A+ program. I worked before school from 5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and the after school A+ program. I am a patient, nurturing, and tenacious person. I care for children like they are my own. I am also an animal lover as I grew up with pets such as chinchillas, rats, birds, dogs, cats, fish, etc. I love hiking and going to the beach. I played sports such as basketball, volleyball, swimming, golf, and paddling. I try to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle!

Karissa is wonderful with our two dogs. We have a 70-lb bully mix and a 10-week old puppy. She is very attentive to their needs and is great at communicating any concerns. Karissa is very responsible, reliable, and dependable. She is flexible even if I need her last minute. While pet sitting when we were on vacation, Karissa administered medication to our dog who had a bad infection, and our dog was cured within 4 days. Karissa also does an amazing job with some housework chores. We are very lucky to have her in our lives!
