About Karissa

Hi! I have plenty of years of experience working with children, from infants to teens. I taught 3rd-5th grade at the after school program Think Together and ran the program as Site Coordinator. I have worked as a direct interventionist with special needs children. I have also worked plenty of summer camps as head counselor. I have been involved with the children ministries at my church. I currently tutor foster children between the grades of K-5th. I have been nannying/house managing/babysitting for 3 years now and am going to school to become a children's therapist. I am majoring in Psychology and Sociology with AA's in Social & Behavioral Sciences, Self-Development & Behavior, and Mental Health Work. I would consider myself to be a very fun, trustworthy, and a loving person. I love being silly and doing fun activities with the kiddos that I care for. I try my best to make sure that the kids I care for not only have fun, but feel loved :)
